TrakManager vehicle units are programmed to meet the needs of each individual customer by operating in either Real-Time, Historic or a combination of both (Delayed Real-time).

Real-time provides current or slightly delayed locations for the vehicle fleet, while Historic provides exactly the same detail but delayed by up to 24 hours. Both modes allow current location requests at the click of a button. The major benefit of Historic is the lower airtime charges, achieved by communicating each days data in a single communication event.  Delayed Real-time enables very detailed data to be collected in bulk, thus reducing airtime charges.
