CSE supply, install and support the Siemens Dayton VDO range of in-vehicle after-fit Navigation systems. These range from in-dash units including radio and traffic management to large colour screen MS5400 systems with optional extra’s including; reversing camera, Tv tuner, dvd player and traffic management (TMC).
Messaging
The TrakManager system offers a number of options for messaging. These include the low-cost NoMad unit, Siemens Navigation with messaging and bespoke systems utilising any one of a wide range of hand-portable terminals. Message types include free text and fixed status messages.
Tracking
The TrakNav system supports Real-time, Historic and Delayed Real-timevehicle tracking. Host functionality is identical, for all three modes of operation, to the TrakManager system
Dynamic ETA
Dynamic ETA is one of the unique features of TrakNav. When vehicles are routed to a destination, the ETA and distance to the destination are communicated to the Host system in Real-Time, keeping the operator fully informed of the vehicle's progress.
Automated
Routing
The TrakNav system will automatically calculate the route
to an address downloaded from the Host system. This unique
feature saves valuable time and eliminates mistakes, leaving
the driver to concentrate on the driving.
